Budget NZ$250–425 per person for the whole day: a shared tour at NZ$185–360 plus the NZ$65 return ferry. The cheapest full day is the Wineries’ Tour at NZ$185 with 4+ wineries — lunch is on you.
Eight of the most-reviewed tours, cheapest first. The line marks where lunch enters the price, at about NZ$255.
Every price here is the advertised “from” price for one adult on a shared tour, as GetYourGuide showed it in October 2026. Tastings-first tours sit at the bottom of the ladder; once a set lunch and a glass are included, prices jump by roughly NZ$65–NZ$100.
At the top, the extra money buys more than wine: whisky and olive oil tastings, oysters, or a seafront restaurant. Private tours are priced per tour or per group and are listed separately below.

Eleven shared tours have a 4.7+ rating from 20 or more reviews. Their prices run from NZ$185 to NZ$360, and none of them includes the ferry.
The table puts every one of them side by side, cheapest first, so you can see what each step up in price buys: usually lunch and a glass first, then a better-known restaurant, then spirits, oysters or olive oil on top of the wine.
Wineries are the cellar doors named on each listing. Length counts from the start of the tour, which for most of them is Matiatia wharf on the island. New listings without ratings and private tours are left out here; private prices are further down.

Every shared tour price covers the guide, transport around the island and the tastings. Lunch is in about half of them; the ferry in almost none.
Two listings, the Essence of Waiheke and the Gourmet Food & Wine tour, spell out “all tasting fees included”. Most others list the tastings as included without a fee breakdown. The lunch on tastings-first tours is a stop at a winery restaurant, paid by you.

Most of the Waiheke wine tours price is what the tour includes: the cheapest tours are tastings first, and the dearer ones add lunch, a glass and extras such as spirits.
Check what the tasting fees cover. A tour that includes all tasting fees pays the cellar-door prices for you; a cheaper tour may leave some of them to you, and cellar doors set their own fees.
Lunch is the biggest single step, about NZ$100 at the cheap end, and the ferry sits outside nearly every price. Compare tours on the full day: the tour, the ferry, and lunch if your tour leaves it out.

Add NZ$65 return to the tour price: the cheapest full day comes to NZ$250 per person (≈US$142), the Beach Front Lunch day to NZ$355.
Fullers360 sails from the Downtown Ferry Terminal on Quay Street to Matiatia wharf, where almost every tour meets you. The summer timetable runs up to 50 sailings a day, the first at 6:00, so a 9:00 or 10:00 boat fits most tour starts.

A guided wine day on Waiheke costs about NZ$250–NZ$355 per person once the ferry is added. The cheapest all-in figure comes from the few tours that include the ferry.
The tour price is only part of the bill. On 19 of the 23 tours you still need a return ferry, and on tastings-first tours you also buy lunch. These four budgets show the whole day, using real listings.
Drinks beyond the included glasses, tips and souvenirs are not counted, and neither are tasting fees for the do-it-yourself day, because we don’t have checked figures for them.

Per winery, the Wineries’ Tour is the cheapest by far: four or more stops for NZ$185. With lunch in the price, a winery works out at about NZ$95–100.
Price per winery is the tour price divided by the cellar doors on the listing. It flatters tastings-first tours, because their lunch is paid separately; on the lunch tours, part of each figure is the meal and a glass.
Length counts from the start at Matiatia; ferry time is on top.

Our arithmetic on GetYourGuide prices, Oct 2026
Per hour, tastings-first tours cost about NZ$31–NZ$42; tours with lunch about NZ$50–NZ$64. The shortest tour is the dearest per hour.
Price per hour is a rough measure of how much day you get for the money. It favours long tours and tours without a set lunch, and it doesn’t show how much of the time is spent tasting rather than driving or eating.
The Wineries’ Tour’s 6 hours start in Auckland and include the crossing, so its time on the island is shorter than the figure suggests.
Our arithmetic: GetYourGuide price ÷ listed length, Oct 2026
Private tours start at NZ$365 for an evening tour and NZ$520 for a couple by day; the dearest is NZ$1,500 for two with a sommelier.
A private price is for your own booking, not a seat in a group. Two of these six listings say how many people the price covers; for the rest, check the booking page before you divide the price by your group.

“Great value for the money! Maree was a great tour guide.”
“Our only note was that we would have liked something to absorb some of the wine… Otherwise, it was great value for money and we had a wonderful time!!”
“Great wine tour - 15 wines from four different wineries. Lots of variety and a fun group to go with.”

The biggest saving is the ferry: count it in before you compare tours. After that, lunch is the next item you can control.
None of these tips needs a voucher or a coupon. They come from how the listings are priced: most tours start on the island, about half include lunch, and the advertised price is the lowest one available.
The difference between tastings-first and lunch tours of the same length is roughly what a set lunch with a glass costs, so it is worth deciding early whether you want a long sit-down meal.

We don’t track outside deals, so we can’t promise a cheaper voucher; the saving that always works is counting the ferry before you compare.
None of the 23 GetYourGuide listings we track mentions a gift voucher. You can book a date directly on the tour page, with the cancellation terms shown before you pay. If you want to give the day as a present, the simplest route is to book a date on the tour itself; a tastings-first tour from NZ$185 or a lunch tour from NZ$255 covers most budgets. Our best-value pick.
We don’t track Grabone, so we can’t compare its deals. Check what a deal includes — lunch, tastings and the ferry — against the NZ$185–360 tours here, which list what is in the price. Remember that most deals, like most listings here, leave out the NZ$65 return ferry. What the price includes.
We don’t list Enjoi’s tours, so we can’t quote their price; check it on Enjoi’s own site. For comparison, shared Waiheke wine tours on GetYourGuide cost NZ$185–360 per person, checked Oct 2026. Whatever you compare, put the tour price, the ferry and lunch side by side, because those three make up the full day. All prices.
It can be, but check the basis: two private listings are priced per group of up to 2 (NZ$520 and NZ$1,500), the others don’t say. A couple on the NZ$520 tour pays ≈NZ$260 each, close to a shared lunch tour. Private prices.
We show the “from” price: the lowest adult price on the listing. On a given date, or with an option such as lunch added, the price shown when you pick a date can be higher. We recheck prices before each update.
Usually not: almost every shared tour meets you at Matiatia wharf when the ferry arrives, so the price starts there. The Boutique Experience (NZ$209) can also collect you from island accommodation, which helps if you stay the night on Waiheke. Pickup from an Auckland hotel appears only on the private Wine & Art tour, which also includes the return ferry. Compare meeting points.
No — lunch tours include one glass of wine with the meal, and anything beyond that is paid at the restaurant. That applies to the Essence of Waiheke, the Beach Front Lunch tour and Sip and Savor alike. On tastings-first tours lunch itself is your own bill, so drinks are too. Plan a little extra cash for the table. What each price includes.
Cancellation terms are shown on each tour before you pay.
